  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; add chicken and cook until golden brown (6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat; melt butter in the skillet. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Stir in honey; let simmer for one minute before adding heavy cream. Cook until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
  6. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Add drained pasta and toss gently, using reserved pasta water if necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
