  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed (for the cinnamon swirl)
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (for the cinnamon swirl)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for the honey glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (for the honey glaze)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for the honey glaze)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for the honey glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and grease your Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined.
  4. For the cinnamon swirl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; layer half of the cinnamon mix on top. Add remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon mix and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with honey and milk until smooth; drizzle over warm cake.
