  • 3 1/2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 cup whole or 2% milk (warmed to 110°F)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 beaten egg (for brushing the tops)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for topping)
  • Flaky sea salt (for finishing)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a greased baking pan (9×13) and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pot; add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, parsley, sugar, yeast, and salt; then mix in warmed milk, egg, and cooled garlic butter.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth (10-12 minutes), adjusting flour as needed.
  5. Shape into rolls, place in the pan, cover, and let rise until doubled (1-2 hours).
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake rolls for 20-30 minutes until golden.
  7. Brush with additional garlic butter after baking and serve warm.
