  • 16 oz Bocconcini (drained and patted dry)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 1/2 cups Plain bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp Dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
  • Finely chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the bocconcini dry and set aside.
  2. Set up a breading station using three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and Italian seasoning, one with beaten eggs, and another with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and remaining seasonings.
  3. Coat each mozzarella ball in flour, dip into eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crunch.
  4. Freeze the coated balls on a parchment-lined sheet for at least 1 hour.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Carefully fry mozzarella balls in small batches until golden brown (about 60-90 seconds).
