  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Rub the brisket with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and spices.
  2. Sear the brisket on medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
  3. Pour in beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar. Stir gently to combine.
