  • 1 cup water plus a tablespoon (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 25 caramel squares

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine water and lemon juice in a bowl; set aside.
  3. Chop apples into cubes and soak them in lemon water to prevent browning.
  4. Melt 2 cups of chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
  5. Spread the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Press pretzels into the chocolate layer.
  7. Drain and dry apple cubes; then melt the caramel with 1 teaspoon of water until smooth.
  8. Drizzle caramel over pretzels, add apple cubes on top, and drizzle remaining melted chocolate.
  9. Refrigerate until set, then cut into pieces.
